I've been getting the BSoD with the error message: "a clock interrupt was not received on secondary processor". I've tried a lot of things, including an update of my BIOS and my video card drivers. The error details I get once I restart Windows 7 follows:
I'm not sure what started this problem, but my PC was running smoothly before any of this started to happen. The crashes happen most often when I'm trying to start my computer, and it can get annoying...but it seems once I get it warmed up and it's been running for a while, it wont crash, but that isn't always true.
Also, I'm not sure of this is related, but it started at around the same time the crashes started. Some times when I turn on my computer, it gets stuck at the boot screen, the one where I can hit a key to enter my BIOS settings. It appears to occasionally have trouble detecting my DVD drive (SATA). Some times it will start instantly and the DVD drive will be detected, and other times, it will stay on the initial boot screen while it tries to detect SATA port 2 (my DVD drive), at which point it will get stuck, or sometimes it will continue booting but probably won't have detected the DVD drive.
BTW, I'm running W7 Ultimate 32bit
EDIT: dmp file attached.
