hello all,

Cmd won't open anymore( normal and with administrator). I can see it in processes with 512kb. When I change the name of cmd (example: ccmd) it works. I did all possible scans but there were no errors. Anybody knows how to solve this problem?

thanks

I just recently had this problem, I simply rebooted my computer. Then a day later, it was doing it again. I set my computer to a earlier point of time, you may do this process by restarting your computer, and before the windows logo, or login pop up click F8, and press enter on System repair. Please note that this will not harm your computer. If this solution doesn't work, let me know!

A suggestion. Remove Nortons using Nortons removal tool found on line to match you version of Nortons and Windows. Norton anti virus has been known to cause many problems at times. Then try to do a sfc /scannow again to make sure that Windows 7 files are still okay.
Then install MSE.
Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

----------------
With Norton gone and considering what I think you have already done. The only other things I can think of to do is. You could wait and see if any other suggestions are made.

Did you do the suggestion given by Brink?

Hello this seems like you have an error in your system 32 folder or it is corrupted.

Try this it will fix your problem %100 guarantee.

You will need a windows 7 disc for this all you do is
Put Your Windows CD into CD-DRIVE

Then Go To Start > Run & Type "sfc /scannow" Don't copy the quotes.

Then A Progress Bar Will Come Up.

Wait Until Its Complete, This is Gonna Copy All Missing Files From CD To System32 Folder!
Restart & There You Go! :D

This is what confuses me. You must have admin privileges to do this.
