COD 4 problem

How to enable cod4 high graphics?
I can only set it to medium
My Specs:
Pentium dual core E5700 3.0 GHz
Ati radeon hd 4350
1.5 GB ram
320GB Hard Disk
Windows 7 profeional 32 bit
The game is kind of shaking!!!!

Oooh, new GPUs from AMD - however these ones aren't going to be breaking any performance records, they are both priced below $60.
The Radeon HD 4350 and 4550 are slotted in between integrated graphics and the set of hardware we took a look at recently in our Radeon 4670 review. The Radeon HD 4550 will run you around $45 - $55, while the Radeon HD 4350 will be priced at $39. Generally speaking, if you're a gamer you're not spending any less than $150 for a graphics card - so these GPUs are mostly for enabling hardware Blu-ray acceleration or providing a boost in performance over games running on integrated graphics.

The Intel Pentium E5700 is a low-end CPU

CoD4 is a very optimized game but therein lies your problem, you should consider yourself lucky that you could play on Medium.


Try playing Rainbow Six Vegas on your pc and you'll see what I am saying about optimized games.

Want to go playable?
1st. thing I think you need more system ram, about 2x what you got.
Then fire up cod 4 and go into options.
Graphics - Disable glow, shadow, dynamic lights, no sync - drop smoke edging, bodys & water detail. Drop your AA to 0 or 2x.
Then go into Texture and you'll see the last option - change auto to manual and you'l get 3x more options - drop them to normal or low.
You should get some playable fps. Oneother thing enable the console and for SP ~ then /r_drawdecals ( I think ) 1 default set to 0. MP not sure if punkbuster will blast you for that.
