COD2 Help!

i recently bought a new acer about a week ago, and when i bought it, i installed call of duty 2 on it, and it was playing fine until now, and i was wondering if it was that update i just did a few hours ago. any help would be appreciated.

Unistall the update or use sytem restore to see if the game works. If so, and the update is not important, set updater to notify and then hide the update when it comes again.
