CoD2 Sp missions wont start

Well i know this game is really oldddd and i would have people screaming at me to get cod4 or bla bla bla but i love old games


anyhow, i instal COD2 perfectly from a cd just recently and the only error i encounter during installation is * class not registered*

but still that error comes up after the installation

Installation done i click the game sp goes in shows me the intro i create a profile then i click new game skill level easy

den ...nothing..

i mean after clicking the skill level nothing happens just the skill level goes away and am staring at the main menu again do the same routine new game skill level (i tried all d skills)

No missions on or anything i tried mission select eh d first is Red training or so but the exact same thing after i click skill level it still shows me mission select

I tried the game on MP though for some reasons the console pops up when i create a dedicated lan server but when i dont create a dedicated lan server the game works pretty good well the Maps. so am sure all my game files are complete


but stll game wont start on sp i have tried compabitly mode run as admin and re-installing though the only thing that catches my eye is that (class not registered error) i get after installing the game dont knw what it means but anyhow

Have you tried something as simple as uninstalling and reinstalling the game? It's possible that one or more files got corrupted after the install. If not I would give that a shot and see what happens?

I remember playing said game less than a year or 2 ago and it was on the same win 7 64bit OS so I know it is playable. I also remember having some issues with it... perhaps searching here may yield some good answers as I also remember posting something about it here.

Quick answer is trying to install the game in comp. mode and don't forget to install DirectX if the game asks for it.

well done re installing 3 times updated to the latest vversion looked for the crack even no juice well wud try just downloading the game illegally den lol at least i bought it ...

Thanks for the help wud try installing the game in comp mod when i find d cd again or better yet meet the guy i bought it from to help me install it but would keep u guys posted though if ever i try to fix it
