COD4 crashing

I'm Running Win7 Ultimate, with a GTS250 graphics card.
I had a 9600gt in and COD4mp ran without problems.

With the new card all my other games work fine except COD4mp.
The Splash screen comes up, then it turns black and after a few seconds it returns to Windows and no COD4.

Anyone else had this problem or any advice, please?

have you reinstalled the GPU drivers...??


are you fully patched (i think 1.7 is the latest), if so you might want to re patch it with the new card in...

Do you have Stereo Mix enabled in the recording tab of the sound options.
