CODMW2/COD6 single player cheat help

well I got this game, I am more of a single player than online as my upload is incredibly slow (30kb.s max up) so i dont really bother with online.

I love this game, the graphics are awesome and the roles are great!

I searched for cheats for this game for well over an hour googling with no luck. also tried trainers if there were any.

so after about an hour of searching I discovered the 'hack' to enable the command console (pressing the old tiled key `~, next to k/b #1), from there I searched painfully through the console commands (like cg_, player_, g_ ect) and with some success, I discovered how to enable the most useful ones, god mode and infinite ammo (no reload) I have not really bothered to figure out others.

the good thing about the console is it has an explanation on the command you choose and usually by pressing 1 or 0 ect will enable/disable/edit the command.

sv_cheats 1 -enable the use of basic cheats like 'god'
god -you are god.
player_sustainammo 1 - infinite ammo (no reload)
cg_blood 1 -enables blood artwork on bodies

note: you have to input the cheats after every level load. if you die, the cheats do not need to be re-entered.

There are heaps of commands in the game so try experimenting with them. If you find something cool post it.

I also discovered the old 'giveall 1' command no longer works, when the value is set to 1 or on you can no longer pick up weapons nor scroll through weapons, this could be good for not changing weapons LOL.

That's great and all, but there's a basic rule of thumb, if you don't like it, don't read it, especially don't put some *cough* loser comment *cough*(edit loser from looser thanks to SmarteyeballLOL) just because you don't agree with it. There was no reason for you to comment on how YOU don't agree with cheating in a game. there are much more uses for the console hack than you obviously realise, but because your so narrow minded you assume it is purely JUST for cheating and no other purpose, but I wont go into what other features you can alter in the console, because it might cause you "to become dependant on 'it' in online mode".

Like I originally stated, I do not play online nor intend to, and I doubt that this will even work online due to the security on the server.

This was intended for those that want the console for the game, as I had a lot of trouble finding out how to enable it, i figured i would hopefully help someone out out there that was in the same boat, but I have done most of the work for them. I call it helping one another, just like I have a good habit of helping new users at overclocking their system.

So please, if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all, keep it to yourself. It's not hard to do, I do it occasionally myself for the sake of others.

Looser = Something that is no longer tight

Loser = Someone who failed to win. ie I win, you lose. Therefore you are a loser.

As for 'console' hacks - that's what PC gaming used to be about - getting under the hood and playing with all the variables.

that *cough* is spreading fast in this thread, I think we need an online doctor....

man this game is addictive as the others. i can see a debate over the weekend...do my mods and stereo in my new car...or...game...hmmm sometimes i wish i dint have job.lol.
