Hi, I keep getting this message:
comsurrogatehasstoppedworking.png

After this warning I choose to Close the program, and when I click "My Computer" windows explorer won't show any of the disks (C, etc), instead it shows a green bar at the top that slowly advances without changing anything.
I tried the fix described HERE but Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit does not allow me to change DEP settings on dllhost.exe. Any suggestions? Thanks

UPDATE: Interesting, I just found out that the Intel HD4000 graphics adapter is no longer listed in Device Manager. I tried reinstalling it but is gives me Error Code 31, it's unable to install the driver (I tried with both latest and previous driver versions). No idea what's going on.

Have you checked your system for any virus or malware activity? If not, that would be the best starting point.

Also, the article at the following site may provide some help;

Hi singh, yes, I discovered that the culprit was Acronis True Image Home. I restored my system and now everything is fine, thanks.

Glad to hear it,I had same problem due acronis 2013 In which a manually disabled service of acronis caused it to crash re enabling the services to automatic solved it.
