Hi Lindsey and welcome

Microsoft office 2007 "BLUE"? I dont remember that one can you tell us about the version? Docx should not be a problem in Office 2007.

You want to combine "IT" (the docx file?) with a jpeg?

Thanks

Not sure I am following you, but here is a screen cap I just made of a Word doc named "test.docx", with an inserted JPEG, done from the insert menu in Word.
