Anyone who want to try aswell? :p

And guess what will happen when I press Fix my computer.
It tries to download Live PC support and obviously they will sell some product to me :sarc:

Panda Cloud AV is still decent. Way better than Comodo.

Now comodo officially failed.
They are taking the project from Public Realse, back to closed beta.

Hello Guys

I have to say this release was a bit disappointing my self. However, It has now been renamed to BETA based on user feedback and I also created a beta corner for it so only registered comodo forums users can see it. This is going to work with CIMA, (Comodo Instant Malware Analysis) it will have that functionality in this cloud scanner, as well as the cloud signatures.

Sorry for any inconvenience. CIMA issues will be resolved hopefully next week.

Yes, I saw that post right after my post on another forum. After calling Comodo out for telling people that Kernel32.dll and Comctl32.dll are suspicious files. Awful, awful program and how it got out there is amazing.

Well it's not just a Malware scanner that's in the cloud, it's like a CCleaner does to the windows system. When asked, this is what Comodo's Staff Member told me about this service.

This is a product that tells you about the potential issues you have to deal with, from malicious files to registry entries that could do with cleaning to cookies that might be used for tracking and so on. If you want go ahead and DIY cleaning etc, you can always download CIS, CSC etc which are all FREE! If you are not comfortable messing around with your computer, you can register for 30 days for FREE and let our experts do it for you. You get full 30 days for FREE, you don't have to pay anything for these experts to do it for you. If you decide to keep the service after 30 days we charge you, otherwise you got a free cleaning/maintenance from our experts for FREE!

Comodo's specialty is firewalls. They are probably just trying out some AV's and other scanners so that they can release their own AIO solution like everyone else is trying to do.

I know it seemed weird when ESET released their smart security because they had till that point only been known for their AV. Anyway long story short, I am using it now and it is the best AV/Firewall combo I have used to date.

So it will be a bit before we know if their AV solution is fail or not. Even if it does flop they will probably just buy out some struggling AV company and build on their releases.
