It is a matter of personal choice. I prefer Comodo firewall over Windows firewall because of the ease of controlling outgoing programs. The Comodo firewall does very well in firewall tests as does the PCTools firewall. MSE is a good anti-virus program.

You have opened the can of worms again on which is the better...the red apple or the green apple....there are so many opinions out there and everyone has one. It just comes down to your own personal preference. You may find something more user-friendly than say I would so there we would have a difference in opinion. It just goes to say...to each their own. Base your decisions on what you feel comfortable with.
