Compatable CD's for my laptop

The following is what the bios tell me about my laptop Multimedia Drive.

" Supermulti 8x DVD+- R/RW With Double Layer Support "

I wish to puchase some CD's, however, with all that I have seen on the market I am not certain which CD's I should purchase.

Any Cd -R or CD-Rw should work like normal.

You could be lucky and be able to use any as Dinesh said I know with my machine the CD's I already had wouldn't work so I just phoned the manufacturer and asked them which brand they used, after that I had no problems burning CD's.

I looked at these and that was the reason I asked.

Maxwell 16x 4.7GB High Density DVD-R

My drive is 8x and these are 16x
