does games play better in different different compatibility settings in win 7

well it depnds on the game liek i said if it doesn't say compatable with Vista/Win 7 then it will take a while cos it will have to do some stuff that will make it run on win 7,i persoanlyl play a few old games Star Wars KOTOR II is a perfect example, that takes a while to load works but not properly
