Hi all,

I've recently installed a Compiler IDE(I want avoid telling IDE name becouse my question is not related on it) and it worked well. But after installing SP1 and SP2 package of this Complier IDE it crash after creating a new project or opening a project. I've uninstalled this IDE and reinstalled it without any additional SP packs likes in the first installation but now it crashes in the same point like happened with SP packages.

Here what's happend:

Installed Complier IDE
Working
Installed Complier IDE SP1
Installed Complier IDE SP2
Stopped working and crash

Uninstalled Installed Complier IDE SP1
Installed Complier IDE (without SP1 and SP2 Complier IDE's)
Stopped working and crash

I suppose that Complier IDE's SP1 and SP2 changed something in Windows System that cause this error.

My question is, how can I restore Windows Setting/Registers/Files to be able to run again this software?(excluding format)

What've tryed:

Uninstall Compiler IDE
Delete all folders of Compiler IDE in:
- C
- C:/Programs
- C:/User/*User Name*/AppData/ (Local, LocalLow, Roaming)
- C:/User/*User Name*/Documents
Running CCleaner
Manually remove all registers with Compliler IDE's name from RegEdit

I wanted to try also Image System restore but my oldest Image System is when program doesn't work.

Any suggest?

I also wanted to try a Virtual Machine to avid format PC but it'll slow system, any alternatives?

Perhaps there is a startup program still lingering around from this IDE?

Try downloading Autoruns
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Extract autoruns.exe to your Desktop > Right-click Autoruns.exe and select "Run as Administrator" > Delete any and ALL yellow entries

I'm assuming there is a startup file or file in the registry lingering around.

I've found this DS1410D in yellow, should I delete it? I've found that is used for hardware communication. But I think it's related to FlexLM license manager.

How can I find files in the registry that lingering around?

Thank you.

Yes you can delete it. Anything in yellow is a missing file anyway. It's just deleting its startup entry that could possibly cause hangups and in some cases, programs can seem as if they still exist and also symptoms from Malware and other malicious files can linger there as well.

In a nutshell, the colors in Autoruns mean this:
Blue: shows the location where the following group of entries is found - usually a Registry key
Pink/Red: no Description or Company Name in the file version resources or no version resource (always true for script files). If the Verify Signatures option is on, file is unsigned.
Yellow: file not found in the expected location
Green: shows changed entries when using Compare from the File menu
Finding registry files can be a dangerous proposition. However, if you create a backup and are very careful, you can completely eliminate this IDE from your system. Try Google and look for known registry objects from your IDE. Be very careful, sometimes file names can be the same as other files.
