Solved Complete Wipe?

When we bought my computer it had a 250GB and had about 220-230 GB Free. When i reformat i get about 160-180 free. I know windows stores thing on the hard drive after deletion.

How can i completely wipe it to like when i bought it so i have more space?

* I used Auslogics Boost Speed Disk Wiper
* Whenever I reformatted I formatted the drive and deleted the partition and made a brand new one.

When you clean install the OS, you get a choice upgrade or custom. If you do (and should) chose custom you get the chance to go to advanced. In advanced, you can format the entire drive, by making it all one partition.

I think you can do an even more thorough clean with Diskpart: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/52129-disk-clean-clean-all-diskpart-command.html

You get the same result very easily using the Partition Wizard boot disk and doing a disk "wipe": http://www.partitionwizard.com/download/pwhe5.iso

A proper cleaning will take quite a bit of time.

You want "Clean All" command in Diskpart.
