Hi,
I use my windows pc as a server in my office. About 10-14 different computers access my pc through the network.

Now, my problem is that my pc becomes inaccessible abruptly at any time. Like after 2-3 hours it becomes inaccessible to other users. (But at the same time, I can access other computers in the workgroup. But they can't access my pc.). After I restart my computer, other computers in the workgroup can again access my pc.

I use quickheal firewall, I tried to disable the firewall and check if people can access the computer after disabling, but they cant access even after disabling quickheal firewall.

Can someone help me with this problem, its driving me nuts as everytime I have to keep restarting my computer, so others can access it.

Regards,
Nishant

   Note
A peer to peer sharing network (WORKGROUP) becomes unstable once more than 10 clients are connected due to the increased overhead on the network therefore this can cause performance issues when connecting to hosts

One thing I must say is what is the number of maximum users you have allowed on the folder share? This can affect the amount of users that can simultaneously access the share.

Please make sure that this number is either equal or higher than the amount of people you want to be able to access the server

Many Thanks,
Josh! :)
