computer crashes when left on standby ?

Hi, there Folks the problem im having is when i leave my computer on for an hour or 2 hours it crashes gos back to the password page saying password locked ? i put my password in but it dosn"t reconize it so i have turn off pc from the power button ? did this on my old win 7 now im on win 7 7264 still got the same problem any ideas ? my system spec is there if you need to look. regards dan

Have you tried disabling the password on your account Dan ?

Click the start orb , double click on your user photo and select the option from the window that opens?

Not sure if that will do anything but its worth a try mate.

just checked this and its already unticked but thanks for the heads up anyway. what else could i try ?

Regardless if your user has a password, try turning off "require password on wakeup".
