I am getting a i5 3570k with 8 gigs of ddr3 ram. I currently have a GTX 550 TI. Is it worth getting a new graphics card or a SSD to make my games run faster? If i were to get a new graphics card i would get a GTX 660 as i don't want to waste my time and skip right to the top. But with a SSD the game loads and plays faster but is it worth it buying that for more demanding games or just getting a better graphics card and just focus on gameplay.

Actually, an SSD contributes very little to gaming. By far, you will see a bigger jump in gaming performance with a new video card. I'd recommend a GTX 660Ti, instead of the regular 660. That being said, your video card may be good enough to play games now, and if it does, please.....spend the money on an SSD. Everything will benefit from an SSD.

I would get a good SSD first, and then save up and get a video card later on.

Ssd will make the os load faster and apps also. The video card would make a bigger impact on games and boost fps. Get the video card first and a ssd later.

Whatever you decide to do and if you go with the purchase of a GTX660... you can always send the GTX550 my way, I promise I will take care of it like it if was my own child.
