Hi all

Computer was installing updates but then it locked up, i left it for about 30 mins and thought something's wrong, pushed the power button on the computer it kinda went into sleep then i clicked power button again and it came back to "installing updates" but it stayed at the same stage as before. I then had to turn the computer off by unplugging it.

Would this damage any components? Damage anything at all?

I've only just got this new pc so it's really annoying that it has locked up!!

Thanks

If you left your computer for half an hour it must have did a restart required by some updates. And it takes a bit of time for configuring and installing the updates. How much time did you left your computer on before shutting it down..

Are you able to start the computer?
