Computer freezes after Nvidia driver stopped and recovered

My computer gets a black screen, then comes back to normal. Then a few minutes later the entire computer becomes unresponsive and I have to reset it.

-I already changed the Nvidia settings from adaptive to performance
-I also followed this guy's instruction on changing the registry : Disable nVidia Power Management / Power Saving - YouTube
-I uninstalled, cleaned registries, and did a clean install several times for the driver.

It still happens and I don't know what else to do.

Please help me :-/

Have you tried updating or reinstalling the drivers?

Yea I did that about 482,530,150,051,052 times, give or take haha.

Could be your video card my 660 used to get white screens as well as unresponsive turned out it was the card and had to be shipped back

Which card do you have? But only ship back if needed if it's a company like evga they will ship to anywhere most video card manufactures will be able to reach you try calling or emailing them

Gtx 780. But I am sure this is a driver issue or something else disrupting it. I ran FurMark and got a score of 6130

You could try an older driver or a Beta driver.

how can I put 314.22 on my gtx780? what do you recommend?

Actually I just found out how. Edit the inf file. I'll let you guys know if it works and is more stable on gtx 780

Just download the driver you want and install it. Make sure doing a custom/clean install of the nvidia driver.
