Computer Freezes on Shutdown, error 'Driver_Power_State_Failure'

Hi there,

I have recently started to receive errors when I try to shutdown or restart my computer.

--It will reach the 'Shutting Down' screen with the rotating timer animation.

--Said animation will then proceed to freeze after about 15-20 seconds. My computer used to shut down in about 5-10 seconds before this error.

--After a long time, the computer will then hard rash into the blue error screen that says 'DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE'.

Nothing has really changed to encourage this so I am at a loss for answers. If you can provide any assistance then please do so, I will be very greatly.
