I feel something is wrong with my explorer.exe because it seems to freeze and then just lock up my whole system. I am not getting blue screens, but I am forced to restart the PC every time.

Hi er111a,

Glad that the 'System Hardware' passed the 'Diagnostics'.
The attached file 'sfcdetails.zip' does not have any information. Please re-check and share the 'logs' again.

Do reply with the findings; will take it forward from there.

Computer Crashing when put to sleep/hibernate

These seem to be the main problems. Whenever I am putting the computer to sleep it crashes and if it doesn't crash then it'll crash when I start it up. I'm really unsure what is causing the problems because this only started after having the Studio XPS for about 8 months or so.
Thank you for the help!

Hi er111a,

Thank you for updating us with the status.

The 'mini-dump' is missing from the attached file. Please ensure that 'Windows' in your system is configured to create a dump on 'Blue screen': http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/174459-dump-files-configure-windows-create-bsod.html

Also follow the steps in the following tutorial to capture and share the files again: http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

With the limited information, I found that you have 3 anti-virus software installed in the notebook. This is a potential cause for the 'Blue screen errors' (Not more than 1 anti-virus is required).

Code:
Start Menu\Programs\avast! Free Antivirus
Start Menu\Programs\Bitdefender 2012
Start Menu\Programs\McAfee Security Scan Plus

Please install the following 'uninstaller tools' to remove these programs one by one:
- Click http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclear.exe > Follow through with the on-screen instructions > Restart the system
- Install http://www.bitdefender.com/files/KnowledgeBase/file/BD2013_Uninstall_Tool.exe > Restart the system
- Click http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe > Install the file > Restart the system
- Click Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows to download and install the file. This is a free 'anti-virus' from 'Microsoft' (Use it to see if it fixes the errors)

Hope this helps. Do reply with the findings; would be glad to assist.
