Computer Freezing after Hibernation

After I come out of Hibernation, my computer freezes everytime. I then have to turn it off by holding down power as Ctrl-Alt-Del will not work. Once it boots back up, everything is messed up and I have to restart it again to get it back to normal. Anyone else having this problem?

I have attached the BSOD files.

Information:
- Windows 7 x86 (32 bit)
- Originally installed system was Windows Vista x86
- Full retail version
- Computer was purchased in 2007
- Windows 7 was installed October 2009

Done! I'll let you know how it turns out. SHould I post the BSOD data again or no?

Also, will these network errors interfere with anything else?

I'm not sure where the network errors come in, actually. They might coincide with your freezing issues, and indicate that they are the same problem. Or they could be unrelated, but either way, it is good to resolve them.

If the freezes/crashes persist, go ahead and upload a new BSOD report.

Sorry, I have been busy with the holidays. It still freezes after coming out of hibernation. I re-installed avast, though. Should I remove it completely and try it or should re-installing avast have fixed it? I've posted my updated BSOD

Also, try a repair install.

Just letting you know that I haven't forgot about the thread. I am away visiting my parents for the holidays and they do not have a usb drive but back home I do. I use SeaTools periodically and have never found an issue with my hard drive. I will report back to you once I perform the ram test.

For the testing of the RAM, I installed the software but it did not boot upon restart. How do I go into the BIOS and change the USB drive to be the first to boot?

Tap whatever button it is to "enter setup" during the initial POST. It is usually F2, but I have also seen F12 and Delete.

I tested my hard drive and memory and neither had problems. I purchased my Win 7 key online so I don't believe I am able to perform a repair install.

Yes I do. Could I do a complete clean install with that?

You could, if you burned them to a DVD first. However, if you can get to the setup.exe file found in the installation media, you can run a repair install from Windows.
