I believe the cause of this is because of my memory. I think I need to get a higher memory but I thought I post it here and see what others say.
I have a 2GB memory. 2 months ago I upgraded my computer from XP to 7 and recently my computer has been crashing a lot.
It is usually when I am:
-watching video
-playing a game
-Listening to music
The computer all a sudden freezes and you here a sound that keeps repeating itself. It happened once on XP when I was playing a game that had very high graphics.
But now on 7, it happens way too many times.
What do you think the problem would be?
Hello ashimashi,
*Have you checked in Event Viewer?

Go to the windows log>application tab.
Look for critical errors (they have red in the left column)that say anything that relates to the problem.
Please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.
*Have you experienced any BSOD's?
