Computer Hangs randomly, then BSODed

Long story short, my computer hangs a lot, shows notifications that something is corrupted (AvastUI.exe corrupted blahblahbla), then this thing appeared:

I've tried to reboot it a few times, but then it still has the same problem appearing every time. Looking at the Event Viewer, I noticed these:

chkdsk won't work; instead this appears:

Is there a problem on my disk that I should fix? I can't rely on the System Restore, since it always says that I don't have restore points. :banghead:
