Hello Everyone.

Everything began yesterday when I downloaded a copy of a game.(I do trust the website from which I downloaded it.I had no errors from their games)I installed the game which is PAYDAY 2.Before I was able to play I was required to click on a reg file to make changes to regisstry.I did that and when started the game but when I got an error message saying that I have corrupted files. So I pressed on the option to recover the files. For a few hours after I restarted my computer a few times I was getting this message constantly until a moment when the number of corrupted files changed itself from 6 to 3.

I also tried to play a few games(World of Tanks, WarThunder) but I wasan't able because, probably, of this edit that I made to the registry. Also my Steam application was giving me an error.

Any help?
I don't really want to reinstall my windows. Is there any way to undo this change?

Hello Welcome to Seven Forums .. Maybe you have a Restore point .. Or. Read the Link below and post back the Results

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

I don't have a restore point, but I'll try this link. Thanks for help.

Hi there
In future ALWAYS backup your system before installing any software -- with things like FREE MACRIUM it should only take around 15 - 30 mins -- then if the system gets hosed up for any reason then just restore it.

Keep OS and applications in ONE partition and data etc on the rest. Then if you restore the OS you don't have to restore all your data too.

Cheers

Why don't you have a System Restore point?

The easy way to deal with situations like this is to fall back to a previous Restore Point. For this reason System Restore should always be on for C drive and configured for as much space as you can afford: System Protection - Change Disk Space Usage

You can System Restore from the F8 Advanced Boot Options, the booted installer or Repair CD if Windows will not boot or SysRestore won't run correctly from Windows.

I fixed everything but in a different way.but still need some help.I somehow managed to fix things when the idea came in mind.I was looking trough google things when I found something concerning full power as administrator.
When I clicked-right on the World of Tanks.exe and choosed to run as administrator, this fixed the problems. But I don't know why I don't have full admin rights.I remember I had.
