Ok so i have a problem. Few days ago i have put a new graphics card in my computer (ATI Radeon 5570 hd) and two additional GB of ram (now i have 4). The next day i started getting (at random intervals) a BSOD. It was a dxgmms1.sys problem. I reinstalled all of the graphiscs drivers and i have updated DirectX. It fixed the problem, but know my computer keeps freezing (again at random intervals). What should i do?

Check what size power supply you have - your graphics card requires a 350w PSU at least.

Good write-up here: Radeon HD 5570 review

Oh yeah sorry. Forgot to say i have put in a new power supply (650w). Also i will add i overclocked my AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 500+ from 2.6Ghz to 3.2Ghz (yes i have enough cooling also).

bring down that oc to 20%(3.12 instead of 3.2). i have found regarless what cooling i do for myself or someone else 20% oc seem to be the max most mobo's like. also please update your system specs.

Ok i came to a conclusion: when i play some games that are more requiring for the hardware (bad example but this happened while i was playing World of Warcraft) i get a BSOD for dxgmms1.sys. But when i play some other games that are less requiring (like Minecraft or even while watching youtube) my PC freezes instead.
P.S. i updated the specs and i'm sorry i thought saying 3.2Ghz instead of 3.12Ghz wouldn't make a difference (it was actually 3.12Ghz).

ok first thing i would try is download the latest directx from microsoft and install. then do a reboot and try your game and youtube again. i also found the following.

I tried 2 out of 3 of these solutions. The only one i haven't yet tried is the one with flashing the motherboard (and i will try it now :) )
Edit: I just saw that i didn't download service pack 1. Can that be a problem?

i would do a restore point then install sp1 and any other updates after sp1 you need. then see if you still have the problem.

Ok i downloaded the service pack 1 and it seems it fixed the dxgmms1.sys problem. Everything was alright for about 2 hours and then i got a new BSOD that said it was the atikmdag.sys fault. I then came to a conclusion that the sound driver of my graphics card (yes i didn't believe either that my graphics card can process sound via HDMI). Any way after deinstalling the graphics driver it fixed that error BUT now i have a new one. I doesn't say whats the problem. The only thing i can provide is a dump file so i hope it helps  (i had to .zip it so i can upload it)
