Computer locking up randomly for some time

Hey,

So, I've got this new computer with the following specs:

Corsair Force 3 120GB (Firmware 1.3.2)
Asus M5A78L-M /USB3
8Gb Kingston ValueRam 1066
Asus 1090T
750W Chieftec PSU
Nvidia GTX 560
Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium

Problem is, that the system often hangs for something like 30 seconds or so. It randomly whether I install Windows Updates or browse internet with Firefox. I have no idea how to start solving this one as there are no error messages. What could be wrong? Temperatures are great in the system, so it shouldn't be heat related. I've heard of similar problems with Corsair SSD's, but how can I fix this if it has something to do with that? Let me know if you need anymore info

There are many reasons why a PC " behaves" this way.
These annoying " gliches" may be caused by an overloaded hard drive, overworked CPU, Malware, running 2 AV 's, unnecessary data, Browser addons or you may have unnecessary programs running in the background etc....

Initially lets troubleshoot using the following steps...

*The first thing I would do is run a scan with either Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware free.
Download, update & run a full system scan.

Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO removes malware including viruses, spyware, worms and trojans, plus it protects your computer

SUPERAntiSpyware.com | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!

*List all the Security software you have ever had installed & currently have now on your computer please.

* Browser addons can create problems.Check how many you have on your various browsers. Is each & every one really needed?

* In an administrators account type cmd in search.
In cmd type sfc /scannow.
This will report and fix minor problems.
Take note of what is said at the end.
Should your computer freeze, try to do the tests in safe mode.

* Go to search, type device manager and look for any yellow warning markers.

*Type event viewer, in search (by start button) > Windows Logs > Application & System.
Look for RED critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.
Note the event ID, and the source codes and Google search them.

* Make sure that you are not over heating.

* Make sure PSU is working properly.

* If overclocking, restore to original.

* Try in safe mode; report back if it works properly.
Start your computer in safe mode

* Test hard drive at company website.

*Clean boot. You may discover what is causing your problem.

Further steps will follow after you report back letting me know how each step

No malware found.

Currently installed is Kaspersky Internet Security 2012. I've never had any other security software.

No errors found.

Tjere were no yellow triangles.

There doesn't seem to be any.

* Make sure that you are not over heating.

Core's are idling at 27C and on load they are at 60C, so I guess they shouldn't be too high?

* Make sure PSU is working properly.

How can I test this? As far as I know, all of the devices are powered up and functioning.

* If overclocking, restore to original.

Runnig at stock speeds of 3.2GHz.

* Test hard drive at company website.

I tested with Atto as that is what Corsair recommends. Turns out the performance is horrible!

How should I go on about diagnosing the cause and fixing it?
EDIT: Okay, I just popped in the SSD to my other computer and it's getting amazing results. Does this have something to do with the mobo and what should I do?
