computer noise

i have been hearing a bing sound coming from my case, starting in the last two days it goes off every minute or two for about ten minutes. i have no idea why its going off and would greatful for any advice

Welcome to SF. It sounds like maybe you have a fan issue. open the case and next time you hear this try to locate it more specifically. Sometimes cables or even the case can strike the fan blades as they spin. Also listen and when happening if not coming from the fans touch the hard drive and see if you hear or feel and odd vibration from it. Also you can tighten any screws just snug and see if that helps.
