I'm not sure what you mean by "powered". All cars made from about 1984-on have some type of ECM (electronic control module) or PCM (power control module). These are computers that control various functions of the engine--Like air/fuel mixture, timing and idle, etc. From about 2000-on, many cars have multiple computers controlling everything from the air conditioning to the radio. Some have as many as seven computers. In any case, please be more specific.

I meant like powered solely by nothing but electryicity and a computer with a touchscreen radio and a touchscreen smart GPS system where you find the area in which you want to go and a radar will lead the car in the exact direction you want to go. So what I really mean is a hands free car powered by nothing but a super computer and a smart GPS system.

Oh sure, absolutely. It's been done already and there's even competition groups. Google "autonomous vehicle systems". Most of these are un-maned but I don't see why a vehicle couldn't have a couple of seats. :)

Forgot to mention: There's also autonomous aircraft. They can take-off, fly to a destination and land. All by themselves. :)
