Recently, my computer has been randomly freezing after long hours of usage. Ctrl+Alt+Del and other keyboards and mouse controls do not work when it happens.

Previously, avast have detected a rootkit infection and have it removed. Strangely, this erractic behavior still continues. My scan with Malwarebytes and Avast right now shows no threats.

What other possible causes could it be?
