Computer rollback issue

My computer graphics card seams to be rolling back its driver updates automatically.
i have a radeon 5770, and the only update tht sticks is 8.851.0.0, the newest update driver for my graphics card is 8.902.0.0, why does it always roll back whn i turn my computer on?

Try downloading the up to date drivers from the OEM manufacturer website & not from Windows updates.

I'd use their "Automatically Detect and Install" option. If you're still getting the 8.851.0.0 installed it could be that the newest driver has issues with your particular computer configuration. When it comes to drivers the usual motto is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Sometimes newest doesn't always = best.
