Computer slow, sometimes freezes

I attempted a system restore yesterday and it didn't restore. It says source%system root%\registration. So I did a disk check and it showed errors and warnings.

Errors: 4107 capi2, 1000 app, 5206 system, 3011 & 3102 load performance, 100 bonjour, 1002 app, 10010 restart.

Warning: 4609 event system, 1530 user profile service, 3036 &10024 search (gatherer), 10010 restart.

Also, I cannot install Windows updates. I have not updated in about a year

Do any of these warnings/errors have anything to do with my computer performance. Any advice/help is much appreciated.

Hello and welcome Nayners for starters I would be so worried about the updates because there is so much crap going on at the moment with them trying to get us to use 10. I always set updates as in my pic and if you do not want to "upgrade":sarc: to 10 there are methods you can set in place to stop it and I can link you to a couple of things for that.

First up and in safe mode run these

You do not have to run the /f and /r switches but I always do.
