computer slow to boot help please

hi i caught a survey scam virus of some sort , i tried to get rid of it buy my computer was still acting up so i done a fresh install of windows 7 done all updates and drivers , now i left the computer on while i watched a movie and i come back to the computer and it was like it was in sleep mode or some thing like that so i moved the mouse and nothing happened , i tried to get into bios and only the bios would only come up half and then i changed the power settings after i got the computer on same thing happened eg: takes a while to boot to windows , when the computer is booting i hear 4 bleeps 2 slow and 2 very fast i am wondering if it is the memory going but not sure , if i put in a windows disc it will load after some time but it does not seem to load or takes a long time to load with out it , any ideas please thanks

Do you know the make of your motherboard? Those beeps are giving you a warning which the motherboard manual will explain.

thanks for your reply the motherboard is ms-7369 bios version is 5.73.22.51.01w according to msi live update

Reset your BIOS to defaults taking note of SATA controller setting.
Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS

May be RAM failure, tho I'm not seeing a result for that exact beep pattern. Test your RAM - Test with Memtest86+ CD for 5-6 passes or overnight to stress it.

Reseat your RAM sticks, checking for debris in slots to remove with compressed air. Guard against static shock before touching sticks.

If that doesn't help test your HD with maker's HD Diagnostic extended CD scan.

MSI motherboards are known to beep at how many USB ports you have occupied mainly to the keyboard and mouse.
unplug everything from the back of the PC (except for the Monitor and Power obviously) it will inform you that no keyboard is connected but that is to be expected.
How many beeps do you get then?

As for the long delay in boot I would normally tend towards the HDD, I can see in the picture you uploaded
that your stuck on entering the BIOS, is that correct or is it stuck in that position no matter what?
First if you can get into the BIOS disable any unnecessary devices from the boot order, leave only your
OS storage to be sole entry, does it boot faster?
If it still doesn't help,(while the PC is completely OFF! and unplugged from the wall!) systematically unplug
the storage SATA Power until you're able to enter the BIOS or BOOT into Windows fast (or at least faster than you could up until now).

thank you for your replys i done a ram test over night it did not show any errors ,we have around 15 usb ports but we have never had this sort of problem before, the computer now goes into bios ok , but what i did notice is that the picture on the monitor was out so i reset the monitor and now the computer seems to be booting in at around 16 to 20 seconds which is a lots faster than before, so not sure if monitor is on the way out or not, another thing that i noticed is that i ran microsoft fixit program and it said that there was more than 1 user on the computer i looked at the settings and it just says that admin is logged in and guest account is not on so how can there be more than 1 user unless hacked dont know for sure , thanks for your help

You can turn off the Guest Account in Control Panel>User Accounts>Manage Another Account if you're not needing it at this time.
