My name is Gerray and I am a flightsimmer.
Four days ago my comp. has stopped downloading Windows 7 updates; therefore I suspect a virus has infiltrated my system . The virus and spyware has not been updated and I sense that my system is at RISK.
I welcome any assistance offered and many thaks for the help.
Did a complete scan and nothing showed up !....Not certain what to do to repair the problem other than a complete re-install ?

If thefile is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files untilthe final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately afterzipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for anumber of reasons)

Thank you for replying to my post; I really need and want your assistance. I was born in 1942 thus making me a senior; I lack the computer expertise to be able to provide you with what you are asking me to post. I have no idea where the CBS Persist cab files are located on my system; However if you have the time to explain to me where they are located I will gladly post them in my next reply. My computer has stopped downloading the windows updates ...the virus definitions & spyware definitions are outdated . I am an avid Flightsimmer and presently taking lessons to work with designing softwares such as: FSDS, ADE, Airport studio and Instant scenery , Model converter X....I have 5 FS mentors and I am learning at my pace....they are extremely generous in sharing their knowledge and their time...FANTASTIC.
My lessons are on hold for now because I need to get my system working normal again.......HOPING that I will be not be forced to do a complete re-installation of my system
