HP p6130y, AMD Phenom X49750 quad processor, 8gb ram (original), ATI Radeon HD 6450 (upgrade), windows 7 x64 (upgrade)
Originally had freezing problem when I first upgraded to Windows 7. Was able to fix it via these threads (can't remember how). It started freezing up recently, particularly after loss of power or sleep/hibernation. Format hdd, reinstalled windows 7, started freezing up randomly. Tried to install Vista x64 from cd, started freezing during installation. So figure it's hardware. Removed video card, can't get anything from onboard video card to show up, vga or dvi. Powers on to a blackscreen. (both cables work fine with an alternate computer)
I could reinstall the video card and I may/may not get it the boot up screen, but what can I do about the freezing issue?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
