New computer built less than 1 week. Started having a strange issue a few minutes ago.

If my comp is off for like 10min or more and i turn it on. It wont even POST.
I have to try booting it up multiple times (Basically warm it up by letting it sit there on a black screen for a min or 2 )

Is Windows 7 . . . - x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? 64BIT - the original installed OS on the system? YES - an OEM or full retail version? RETAIL - OEM = came pre-installed on system - Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer - What is the age of system (hardware)? LESS THAN 1WEEK - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) LESS THAN 1 WEEK

PC Specs:

I can not tell if it was a BSOD because my screen was black. Also note that, at the time the screen was black if i PRESS ANY BUTTON ON THE KEYBOARD the num lock light would glow. When I let go of the button it would not light up

If I wait a few minutes and let it sit on the black screen, then hold the power button down and shut it down then press it again, it will boot up normally. These issues started a few minutes ago.

There are a few things that can cause cold boot problems: RAM, CPU, and the PSU are the most common. One possible thing to try is flashing the BIOS with the latest non-beta update even if you had already flashed it with that version. See if that resolves it, and if not, we can continue with other tests.

Also, did you do anything recently to change the hardware of the system?

Came with some wireless adapter from years ago. Called BackTrack.

I didn't do anything with it...just booted it up to see what it was.

& Can someone please take a look at the files I attached? I'm curious to see what the problem is.

Unfortunately, the reports in those files only deal with Windows. You are having an issue with the system booting outside of Windows, so it is difficult to determine the cause.

Have you tried re-flashing the BIOS as suggested in my first post?

Yes.

But the thing is, the system turns on... It's just there is no display. All my hard drives and dvd roms and fans all run fine.

The keyboard only lights up when I press a button and hold it down.

this only happens during a "cold boot"
