Hi I've just recently started experiencing freezing during start-up. It started during a game of League of Legends, and has been progressively getting worse. It's to the point where it'll take minutes to log on and when it does eventually get to my desktop the task bar will have a loading symbol when I scroll on it. I've tried disabling all start-up programs, and services in MSConfig. Updated all drives, uninstalled newly installed programs, restored to a week prior to the freezing and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Hi there, have you tried removing other peripherals like extra HDD's or DVD/CD drive? might be an idea to just start your machine with only 1 drive, your memory and Video card. If it still does that, try starting the machine with less memory, if you have more than one module of ram.

This didn't help, I just noticed it's slow at the Windows logo that glows, and slow loading my login page. After 5 minutes of trying to log into the desktop I stopped hard booted it back to safe mode. I'm thinking I may have to reformat if I can't figure out what's bogging my system down.
