Computers wont recognise usb

Hi,

I was using a lexar 32gb USB stick the other day in a computer lab in college.
I safely ejected the usb and when I put it back into any other computer it will not show up in my computer.

When I go into devices and printers it shows up in there but I have no access to it.

Anyone able to help.?

1.) Connect the USB when laptop is OFF

Start up the laptop and check whether it is detected in the BIOS setup. If YES update windows.

2.) Try to format it on other computer and then connect it to your laptop

3.) Try and check if other USB work on your laptop.


You can also check if your antivirus is blocking the autorun that would have installed the driver from the usb.

Go to device manager, look for your USB device under Other Devices, right click and installed the driver from there.
