Conflict Between IE9 RC1 x64 and Avast AIS 6.0.945

Avast AIS 6.0.945 is Avast's latest release of their their Internet Security Suite. It is considered a Beta release.

Several people on the Avast Forum have identified a conflict between IE9 RC1 and Avast AIS 6.0.945 (not sure about Avast AV).

I have both versions of IE9 RC1 (x32 and x64) on my W7 HP x64 computer.

IE9 RC1 x32 loads fine

IE9 RC1 x64 tries to load and then closes by itself without ever getting to a website

Online Armor caused this exact same problem with IE9 RC 64-bit on one of my machines.

I did a little further checking

I have two W7 HP x64 computers.

On one of them I am running IE9 Beta both the x32 and x64 version. They both load fine without any problems

On the other computer I am running IE9 RC both the x32 and x64 version. Only the x32 version of IE9 RC is working
