Confused Windows 7 action centre!

I have Avira free anti-virus; version 13.0.0.3640 on a WIN 7 HP PC. The strange thing is the windows action centre tells me my anti-virus reports that it is turned off. However, when I address the Avira GUI the package states web protection and realtime protection are both active. Has anyone else come across this strange anomaly before with Avira /Windows 7? Ich

Is Avira's 'red' umbrella open in the task tray? Is the firewall active?

Jacee, Yes, the Avira brolly is open & Comodo Firewall is active.

When using COMODO Firewall as your third-party firewall is recommended to disable the Defense+ feature, also make sure that the Avira processes are allowed and set as trusted in your COMODO Firewall, since it could cause some problems to update / upgrade your Avira Free Antivirus
