I am the second user on our Office 365 Home - 64-bit install on Win 7 Pro 64-bit.
cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus shows
"LICENSE STATUS: ---LICENSED---"
but also "REMAINING GRACE: 58 days",
but I SHOULD have at least 9½ months left in our first year.
Is this normal?
The full results are:
PRODUCT ID: 00201-[rest deleted]
SKU ID: [deleted]
LICENSE NAME: Office 16, Office16O365HomePremR_Subscription4 edition
LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 16, TIMEBASED_SUB channel
LICENSE STATUS: ---LICENSED---
ERROR CODE: 0x4004FC04 (for information purposes only as the status is licensed)
ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service reported that the application
is running within the timebased validity period.
REMAINING GRACE: 58 days (84565 minute(s) before expiring)
Last 5 characters of installed product key: [deleted]
So why REMAINING GRACE: 58 days when it should be about 9½ months??
Thanks.

Also I still have an old but important XP SP3 machine that can run - Optiplex 755 Desktop w 4GB RAM and Momentus XT hybrid HD-SSD 500 GB hard drive. Used the registry hack to get more updates through "XP Embedded" or "POS" so now the machine rings like a cash register and the CD drawer opens to give change.
Ranger4 - yes, and their frontline folks have never heard of this. Keep in mind this is Office 365 Home, so I'm not dealing with enterprise-level support folks.
By the way, I found this information because there were some license-related errors in Event Viewer, and that led to the info about cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus.
Office is working, and every other indicator is that I'm OK as #2 on my wife's 5-user subscription. But the error messages and this info in cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus need to be resolved.

Thanks for getting back. Is it actually counting down as each day passes.
Is the first users computer also showing this same expiry period?.
I would still be hounding Microsoft about this. No doubt you have all your payment details & dates etc., so I would be getting straight back onto them & taking it to a higher level if necessary ifyou don't get satisfaction.

Spoke with MS tech. They say the Grace is time AFTER the expiration of the first year of my wife's subscription, which is next year in May, 2017, that I can continue to use Office.
Maybe.
But maybe not.
Doesn't sound right.

Dont worry about the 58 days.
That MS tech is WRONG
All that means is that your comp must contact the MS office server within this time limit,
IF you dont then 365 will revert to reduced functionality mode.
Its part of the validation service, just like the every 90 day one on your W7, (bet you didn't know that)
Roy - No, I didn't know that my Win 7 has to kiss MS via internet every 90 days. Good thing to know because it's in a dual-boot computer and I go back and forth between it and Win 10. So no kiss in 90 days it turns into a frog?
Same for Win 10?

OH YES,
Not sure how MS are going to start playing with OS validation
on Dual Boot comps, (W7/W10), on the >> same << hard drive, using the original W7 key .
It technically breaks the EULA agreement you agreed to when you downloaded 10.
Im pretty sure they will issue a formal document shortly in regard to this, and the measures thier going to take.
should make for interesting reading.
I do know that a lot of people have imaged one OS to a seperate drive and swop them in/out.
In my case, NOT the original Win 7 key. I had two keys - Win 7 which I'm still using, and Win 8 which I upgraded to Win 10. Two different licenses.
