Hey guys, here is my issue. I'm running windows 7 home premium 64 bit using an at&t motorola 3360 dsl modem and cisco linksys e2500 router. I am able to connect to internet directly by using only the modem however I am unable to connect to my wireless network. It shows I am connected but the yellow exclamation point says there is no internet access. Drivers are up to date and ipconfig, iprenew in command prompt didn't do the trick either. Troubleshooter says modem is experiencing connectivity issues and to restart modem but that also doesn't help. I'm having the same issue trying to connect to the network on a laptop.

Background: The modem is new. When this issue first started i thought it was the old modem because the internet light wasn't coming on. Now with the new modem the internet light comes on but the issue remains.

You should know that this modem is actually a modem/router combo.

This means you need to enable bridge mode in the modem's setting in order to get the router to connect as it should. Otherwise you would have two DHCP servers on one network.

Bridge mode basically turns it back into a modem instead of a combo unit. Although the reviews aren't very good and from what they say bridge mode is only really half bridge mode with this modem.
