I'm looking to upgrade my rig with $500-$700 AUD. I use my rig mostly for online gaming, some casual browsing and perhaps some video editing. I'm also considering dual monitors, how do I know if it would be a good idea/if my rig is capable?

The only thing I see in your list that is questionable is the PSU. Run a PSU calculator to verify you wattage needs.

Looks OK. The PSU should be more than adequate. (It might be too weak for two cards in CrossfireX, but the motherboard that you list has a single X16 graphics slot, so there's no issue.)

What would you have to pay for a Radeon 7770? It's newer tech, would have at least slightly better performance, and it would consume less power.

I tried to compare US prices for your components, but the Phenom II X6 has dropped off the radar at www.newegg.com. Ditto for the Radeon 5770. Newegg lists the FX CPUs instead. I don't know how an FX-6100 (nominal 6 core) would compare to a Phenom II X6 1045T.

Looks to be about $150-$250 for that. Should I think about getting a 2 gig graphics card? Or would that not do a whole lot?

Also how do I go about getting a dual monitor set up? Could my specs handle it?
