Consistant Windows Opening

I have searched but can't seem to find an answer to this. Is there a way to have your program windows open in the same spot and at the same size all the time? For example, I like to work with internet explorer open on the left side of my 21 inch widescreen monitor and have windows explorer open on the right. I know I can drag each to their respective sides and they will automatically snap to the half screen positions but is there a way to set this position automatically?

Windows usually open in the same size and location as the last window closed. is this not the same thing here?

Hello mac,

Drag the top, sides, and bottom to the size you want, the choose File > Exit from the menu,

DO NOT use the red X to close the window

I will try this, I always use the red x to close the windows, maybe that is the problem. Will let you know, Thanks.
