This is for work. We have been having tons of problems for this specific unit, it keeps on hanging! We think we have tried everything and we are running out of options.
Here's a list of what we have done:
- Cleaned all the video card, and RAM modules.
- Reformatted the hard drive.
- Replaced the hard drive.
- (Will) Replace the video card.
- Checked the board.
- No signs of burning and/or bloated capacitors.
Here's something I just thought of now:
- Monitor CPU temp and re-apply thermal paste if it shows signs of overheating.
EDIT:
If you guys could also enlighten me on what is causing this or what could cause this, that would also be very helpful. I know we have a lot of experienced people on this forums, and I know they are always more than willing to help
Badly need your help guys, the sooner the better. I know sevenforums never failed me in the past so I am optimistic about this. Any kind of hardware troubleshooting procedure will be highly appreciated!
Thanks guys!
