Solved Constant BSOD for first time startups*

OK, here's the thing. My laptop had been experiencing *constant* BSOD for the past month. Weirdly, the BSOD mostly occurred after 5-10 minutes of usage when I start the laptop up for the first time. When it restarted after having a BSOD, it usually runs just fine. This had been a constant thing for my laptop since last month but recently I was quite busy and had less time with the laptop and to my surprise the BSODs almost vanished.

Now that I'm able to use my laptop more, the BSODs seem to show signs of returning. Usually in the 5-10 minutes time before the BSOD, I had my winamp/mpcstar and/or skype on and thats it. AFAIK these use very low resources aside from the mpcstar. Additionally, my laptop always produce a somewhat *hang* sound before the BSOD occurs so I knew one was coming everytime when the sound came out for about 2 seconds.
It might also help to know that these BSOD only started since I didn't turn the laptop off for several days around a month back.

My laptop is a:
Lenovo B450
around 2 years old
Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
had been sent for formats several times to PC shops
windows 7 was the original OS
last format was around several months back

I saved paths to several dump files for the BSODs in the past but I didn't know I had to run stuff for a report. I am attaching the latest BSOD dump file though.

It's an *e bugcheck, pool_corruption, specifically. Dump file doesn't show much as far as drivers go, or a probable cause.

Two tests I'd like you to run:

Memtest:

Read the following to test your memory for errors.

Driver Verifier:

Read the following to enable Driver Verifier. Use Driver Second if Memtest finds nothing, as it's likely a software / driver issue, we just aren't being told what it is, and hopefully Driver Verifier will than force a crash if it finds the violating driver.

Before enabling Driver Verifier, my recommendation is to set a backup / restore point as in severe cases Driver Verifier can break your Windows. If you have difficulty getting into Windows, boot into Safe Mode and disable Driver Verifier there.

Thanks for helping. I will do the tests tonight and try to update here tomorrow as soon as I can.
For now, a BSOD have not yet occurred for this startup of the laptop. Perhaps because I left it to settle down for around 5-10 minutes before I touch anything.
And several days back the BSODs stopped when i had to startup the laptop with balanced or power saver mode due to lack of power supply source, and the BSODs returned when I had it turned back to high performance at startup.

Hello again. Its been awhile since i updated my situation, had been very busy these past few days.
Well, a few days ago I had one of my PC savvy friends to give a check on my laptop. I don't know what exactly he did but the BSOD seems to be gone, even when it started under high performance. So thanks again ePeen for trying to help.

Hi again, sorry I haven't been able to get on the internet for long periods of time since a few weeks ago. I've asked my friend what he did and he said that it was the avast antivirus free version 7. He installed avira free on my laptop and it noticeably startup faster and BSOD have yet to occur since then. He said that a BSOD occurred instantly after an avast update while he was checking stuff in my laptop. He told me to check up on avast issues around the internet and guess what, I found many other windows 7 users having similar, some even exactly the same problem with mine, due to avast version 7. Hope this helps other people with this problem as well.
