Constant BSOD's, Random Stop Errors.

I've been getting near constant BSOD's on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 edition for a long time now for no apparent reason. They started about 2 months ago when I reinstalled windows, something I have since done twice more.

Untill today BSOD crash dumps weren't generating and were just getting stuck at 'initialising dump', but today 2 dumps worked successfully so I thought I'd take the chance to seek help!

Attached are all the files specified in the sticky. Any help at all would be appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that my system specs can be seen by clicking the 'my system specs' thing at the bottom left

EDIT 2: I shoud also mention that I ran memtest86 for 9hours without a single error.

Hi Dav please the below steps to produce the minidump files that we need.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.


To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

After you have done that follow this guide to get your system to BSOD: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html after that has happened a couple of times please redo the posting of your files like you did in your first post which was perfect by the way it just didn't have the dump files hopefully will have better luck this time around. In the mean time I will look through your event logs and such to see if anything is off there..Also I found something in your event log about WMI:

Lol, how embarressing...can't believe I did all that and forgot to upload the minidump!

I tried using the script (think I made a similiar one before) but it doesn't seem to work, just comes up with this error:

I followed the steps with verifier too but unfortunately I can't get past the 'Starting Windows' screen with it running so I had to restore my system and disable it after many failed attempts (it was bluescreening but no dumps).

So since I have no new info here are the dump files to go with the reports in the op post (please note these are the only 2 dumps my system has ever successfully generated).

Good we got the dumps and it seems the the reason the vbs script didn't work is because the error has already corrected itself according to your log files. I will look at the dumps and see what they turn up and will post back.

Both of your .dmp files are blaming your tcpip.sys file ( network adapter driver ) as the reason for your crashes ... Download and install the latest version from your manufacturers website ... Let us know how it goes ..

Uninstall AVG and see if the problem goes away with this tool: http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/avgrem/avg_remover_stf_x64_2012_1796.exe after which please install Microsoft Security Essentials: http://mse.dlservice.microsoft.com/...4-AF60-E44F6DC28BD8/enus/amd64/mseinstall.exe and then reset the tcpip stack by doing the following and update your network card drivers. Please open an elevated command prompt and run sfc /scannow in the window and let it fix any system files that have been damaged. Let me know the results.

Did all of that, when I did the scannow at the end it so no integrity errors or something, still BSOD'ing but no crash dumps are being generated, it just hangs at "initializing dump"
