Stick #1 Slot #1 took all of about 10 seconds to end up with over 500 errors, Stick #2 in slot #1 has been running for about 7 min 51% through the "Pass" part and no errors found...I sure hope that this is all it is...

I'm not sure, I'll check in the morning. This seems like that one stick crapped out...

Wouldn't running just the one stick tell me if that was the issue?

Yes you can use the good stick and see if you're getting crashes or freezes, test this way on both slots. Then put in the bad stick and see how the computer performs (in both slots again but don't insert the good one.)

No problem, you should take more passes say like 8 passes to make sure (on the good stick) and if you have time take for 8 passes on the bad stick as well although I think you found where the problem is. Just for a lil reassurance :) and don't call me sir lol

LOL...I think with as HUGE of a difference between Stick #1 & Stick #2 in a single pass that the crapped out stick is probably the issue. I played a bit in Windows with Stick #2 (good) only in the machine and it performed better with half the RAM...

Guess I'll be placing a crucial order in the morning... Thanks again for the help!!

You're welcome. Glad I was able to help. Make sure the sticks match each other in all ways.

Good luck and you can come and update this thread after you get the new stick.

Take care :)
