Constant Dying

Hi,

My PC keeps dying ie: Windows is Starting Screen in Windows 7 but Refuses to load, no Windows symbol forms etc.

I keep reinstalling with no luck, and my HDD has been restored to working order!

Why!!!!!!!!!!!???????? :cry:

Could be many things including memory, conflicts, system corruption, virus, etc.

Does it do the same thing when you boot into safe mode (F8)?

did it always do this?

Is it a clean install?

Do you have a backup to restore from?

the more info you give us the faster we can help

It may be fine now.... but my HDD is a bit mental, but nothing about RAM defects or viruses because sometimes it dies on first boot!

Still stable at the moment though

Edit: Startup repair said under "Root Causes" a patch is preventing the system startup

I'm uninstalling updates now
